New Prague High School Activities

Coach Thietje is beginning his second year coaching the boys tennis team.  A 2001 graduate of New Prague High School, Thietje has been the JV coach for the High School girl's tennis team for 3 years, assistant JV coach for the High School girl's hockey team for 2 years, the head coach for the middle school girl's soccer team for 4 years, as well as the assistant coach for the USTA summer program for 2 years.  A 2008 graduate of UWF, Thietje is now the Music Specialist at Raven Stream Elementary School in New Prague.  He lives in New Prague with his wife, Nicole, their three children Jude, Elijah, and Audrey and two dogs Eli and Oliver.  

Coach Hilding is entering his second year as head coach of the Boys Tennis team.  Hilding is a native of Hudson, Wisconsin, and went on to Gustavus Adolphus College, where he graduated in 2009 with a BA in Religion.  He and his wife, Alicia, both went on to Luther Seminary where they each received their Masters of Divinity degrees, and are now ordained pastors in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America serving at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of New Prague.  On the side, Coach Hilding is working on a Masters of Arts in Leadership degree from Augsburg University.  Ben and Alicia are proud parents of their three year old girl named Miriam and baby Joanna.
