New Prague High School Activities

The 2019-2020 Gymnastics season is Mark Morphew's first season as the Trojans Head Gymnastics Coach. Mark is currently the Co-Director and a Team Coach at the New Prague Gymnastics Center. For the past 4 years, he has also been the New Prague Trojans Assistant Coach.  Mark received the Minnesota State Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year Award in 2017 for his work with the program. He is also the current President of the Midwest Amateur Gymnastics Association, the biggest feeder program into high school Gymnastics in the country with more than 1,400 athletes and 60 clubs.

Mark began his coaching career in Worthington, MN before moving to Mankato in 2007 and coaching at Mankato West for 8 years.  At Mankato West, he spent time as both an assistant and head coach. Mark just completed his 14th season coaching high school Gymnastics. Mark and his girlfriend, Katie Bohn, along with their dog, Kip, moved to their first home in Montgomery in 2018.
