Coach Norby is entering his eighth year teaching Special Education at New Prague High School and his first as the Head Football Coach. Coach Norby graduated from White Bear Lake High School (Minnesota) where he competed in both football and track & field. Upon graduating from high school, Coach Norby attended the University of Wisconsin - River Falls where he double majored in Health and Physical Education while playing football for the Falcons. After graduating from college, Coach Norby coached football and weight training for one season at White Bear Lake High School and then accepted his first teaching job, teaching physical education and coaching football and track & field at Cary High School (North Carolina). After two years, Coach Norby returned to Minnesota, teaching physical education and health in the Moundsview School District and the White Bear Lake School District while coaching football and assisting with the after school weight training program at White Bear Lake High School. While doing this, Coach Norby returned to school to get his Master’s Degree in Special Education from Bethel University. In 2010, Coach Norby accepted a position to teach at New Prague High School. Currently, Coach Norby is a Special Education teacher, Head Football Coach, Assistant Track & Field, and an Assistant Coach in the weight training program at NPHS. Coach Norby and his family - Melissa (wife) and children Payton, Colton, and Teagan reside in New Prague, MN.

Coach Seymour is entering his twentieth year of coaching football at New Prague High School. In addition, Coach Seymour is a physical education and wellness instructor at NPHS. His hobbies include watching and playing sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Coach Seymour and his family - Meg (wife) and children Carter, Kate, and Willie reside in New Prague, MN.

Coach Shepp is entering his 5th year teaching high school Science at New Prague High School. He graduated from Clear Lake High School in Iowa where he competed in football, basketball track and field and baseball. After high school he attended Minnesota State Mankato where he majored in science education and minored in coaching. Coach Shepp spent a few years at Humboldt High School in St. Paul and Mound Westonka High School before coming to New Prague Area Schools. While working for New Prague Area Schools, Coach Shepp obtained a masters degree in teaching and learning from the Minnesota State Mankato. Coach Shepp also works as a 9th grade coach for the boys basketball program at New Prague. Coach Shepp, his wife Alex and their two sons Max and Devin reside in New Prague.

Don Plaisance is a Industrial Technology Teacher at New Prague High School entering is 23rd year of teaching. Don has been an assistant Football Coach at New Prague for 21 years and also has coached baseball at New Prague High School for 14 years. Don grew up in Faribault, MN and graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Don resides in New Prague with his wife Cheryl and their two children Beau and Peyton.

Coach Brever begins his third year coaching receivers with New Prague High School, following ten years coaching at his alma mater, St. Anthony Village High School, where he worked with receivers, defensive backs, linebackers, specialists and quarterbacks. He was a three-sport letterwinner in high school, and then attended St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN, graduating with a major in mathematics. He went on to earn a juris doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School, and now is a practicing attorney as a partner with the Wornson Goggins Neisen Morris & Brever PC law firm in New Prague, being named a “Rising Star” by Superlawyers Magazine in 2015 and 2016. Coach Brever recently served as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School. He is also the chair of the MSHSL Twin Cities Football District, and is an assistant baseball coach at St. Anthony Village High School and helps with the NPHS hockey program in his spare time. Coach Brever lives in New Prague with his wife Heather and daughter Lydia, and is expecting a new member of the family to arrive in August 2017.

Coach Josephson, (Coach J) attended high school in Barnesville, MN (also home of the Trojans!!!) and earned his teaching degree at Moorhead State University (GO DRAGONS) and his Master’s in education from St. Mary’s. Coach J will be entering his 23rd year teaching and coaching in the New Prague Area schools. Coach J is currently teaching 8th grade Earth science at New Prague Middle School. Coach J is currently the Junior Varsity Head Coach, specifically working with the both sets of lines, defensive coordinator, and special teams coordinator. Coach J will be entering his 22nd year of coaching football. He is also the Head Track and Field coach for the Trojan Girls, where he has been a coach for 22 years. Josephson resides in Elko New Market with his two children, daughter Madison and son Noah.

Coach Immerman is in his 1st year teaching Math at New Prague High School. He is a graduate of Becker High School where he played football and was also a wrestler. After high school, Coach Immerman went to Bemidji State University where he majored in Secondary Math Education with a minor in Coaching while he played football for the Beavers. After graduating from college, Coach Immerman spent one year coaching football and wrestling at his hometown of Becker before he accepted his first teaching position at Tri-City United High School. While at TCU, Coach Immerman coached football for 4 years, wrestling for 3 years, and track and field for 1 year. Coach Immerman and his wife Danielle currently live in New Prague.

Coach Schoenecker is in his 4th year of teaching Social Studies and coaching at New Prague High School. He is a 2002 graduate of New Prague where he competed in football, wrestling and baseball. After graduation he attended the University of Minnesota, Morris where he was a member of the Cougar football and baseball programs. Coach Schoenecker spent 7 years teaching social studies and coaching football in International Falls before moving back to New Prague. He is also currently the junior varsity wrestling coach and junior varsity baseball coach for the Trojans.

Coach Hemann is entering his 3rd year coaching football at New Prague. He is a graduate of St. Ansgar HS in Iowa where he participated in football, basketball, baseball, and track. He attended the University of Mankato where he received a BS degree in education and his coaching licensure. Coach Hemann received his Master's Degree from St. Mary's University. Coach Hemann is a 4th grade teacher in Lakeville where he has been teaching for 25 years. He resides in New Prague with his wife Mindee and children Madison, Taylor, Sydney, and Jacob.

Coach Shetka is starting his sixth year as a teacher, but only his second year at New Prague. He graduated from New Prague High School where he played football, baseball, and wrestled. After high school he attended Minnesota State University, Mankato where he received his Bachelor of Science degree and K-8 teaching license. That same year, coach Shetka was hired by the Prior Lake-Savage School District where he taught for four years. During this time, he continued to coach fifth and sixth grade football in New Prague, as well as some Jr. Legion Baseball. He was hired by the New Prague School District before the 2016-2017 school year and he teaches 6th grade Language Arts and Minnesota History. He currently coaches 9th grade football, 9th grade baseball, and is a high school assistant wrestling coach. Coach Shetka more recently earned his Master's Degree in Differentiation from Concordia University, St. Paul. Coach Shetka and his wife Danielle now live in New Prague and are expecting their first child in October of 2017.

Coach Pauly is in his 2nd year with the Trojan Football program and his third year as a school counselor at New Prague High School. Coach Pauly grew up in Rosemount, MN where he graduated from Rosemount High School. At Rosemount, he played football, basketball, and ran track. He was a 2-time All-Conference football player for the Irish and helped lead them to a conference title and the State semi-finals. After graduating from Rosemount, Coach Pauly went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas and his Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. He has coached football at the varsity level in Rosemount and has also been a high school basketball coach for the past 7 years, last year as a Varsity Assistant coach at Rosemount High School.

Coach Woitas is entering his 4th season as a Trojan football coach and 3rd season at the freshman level. Coach Woitas graduated from Waseca High School in 1995 and received his B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He teaches 5th grade at Tri-City United in Montgomery. Coach Woitas and his wife Marisa live in New Prague with their boys Braeden, Jaxen, and Nolan.

Coach Lockhart is entering his 4th season as Technology & Engineering Instructor and 9th grade football coach in the New Prague School District. Coach Lockhart is also the lead advisor for the New Prague High School Robotics Team. Coach Lockhart is a 1989 graduate of Sauk Rapids High School in Sauk Rapids, MN, where he competed in football, knowledge bowl, and mock trial, he was also active in the technology club. After high school, Coach Lockhart earned a B.S. degree in Industrial Arts at St. Cloud State University. After graduating, Coach Lockhart taught Technology and Engineering at Chaska High School until 1997. Coach Lockhart then moved to Montgomery-Lonsdale High School where he continued teaching Technology & Engineering courses. Coach Lockhart started his coaching career at M-LHS where he coached football for 6 years until he left in 2008. After that, Coach Lockhart coached football at Lakeville North High School, finally ending up teaching Technology & Engineering at Cleveland High School along with coaching baseball. Coach Lockhart and his wife Paula reside in New Prague.
