Jon Hopke

Jonathan Hopke is the Head Coach of the Boys' Varsity Soccer team.  He is a graduate of Woodbury, MN High School and graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth where he earned a B.A. in Social Sciences/Education and a Coaching minor.  During that time, Hopke played with the UMD Soccer Club.  He began coaching with the Gitchi Gummi Soccer Club (1997) and then coached the Boys' JV Soccer team for the Duluth Denfeld Hunters (1997).  In 1998 he was hired to teach Social Studies at New Prague High School where he created, and coached, the New Prague High School Soccer Club.  In 2000, Hopke was the Junior Varsity/Assistant Varsity Coach with Prior Lake High School and held that position for four years.  He then came back to New Prague High School as the Boys' Middle School Soccer Coach (2005-2006).  Hopke became the Boys' Junior Varsity Soccer Coach in 2007 and was named New Prague High School's first Varsity Soccer Coach in 2009.  He currently resides in the New Prague Area with his wife, Teresa, and their family.


Joe Gliori

JV Coach - NPHS Boys Soccer

The 2016 season will be Joe Gliori’s first season as JV Boys’ Soccer Coach at New Prague High School.   Joe began coaching high school soccer in 2007 for Chicago Christian High School (Palos Heights, IL) then at Wheaton North High School (Wheaton, IL).   Gliori is a 2003 graduate of New Prague High School and also serves as the goalie coach for the New Prague Soccer Club.   He currently resides in Elko with his wife Rachel and their family


Robb Morris

C-Squad Coach - NPHS Boys Soccer

The 2016 season will be the 2nd season for Coach Morris serving as the C-Squad Boys Soccer coach.  He had coached soccer at New Prague Middle School for many years and has also been active in the Youth Soccer coaching ranks. 

Morris is a 1983 New Prague High School graduate.  He went on to receive a BA degree in Geology from the University of Minnesota and a MS degree in Geology from the University of New Mexico.  He also has a JD degree from the University of Minnesota School of Law.  Morris has coached numerous sports (hockey, soccer, baseball, softball, tennis)  for almost 20 years.  Morris and his wife, Sandra, live in New Prague with their three children; Kathryn, Alexandra and Eric.
