A NOTE FROM THE COACH CASSIE

"I have been reflecting on our section tournament and I absolutely must express my admiration and appreciation for each and every one of you.

First and foremost, I want to acknowledge the hard work, dedication, and perseverance that each of our athletes displayed throughout the season. I am incredibly proud of how far our team has come. A HUGE congratulations to Nellie and Payten for securing their spot at the state tournament next week!
We had some amazing dives and races and some heartbreaking ones. It is important to remember success is not solely defined by the outcome of a single competition. We must recognize the progress we have made, especially considering the fact that we have moved up to one of the toughest sections in the state. Our ability to compete at this level speaks volumes about the talent, determination, and skill of our athletes.
One of the most remarkable things I witnessed during the section finals portion year was the way our team came together to support one another. Instead of dwelling on disappointment, I saw our girls rally around their teammates with compassion and true sportsmanship. It was a testament to the character and unity that our team embodies.
Furthermore, I received numerous compliments from other coaches about the impressive talent and abilities of our girls. It is a tremendous honor to have our team recognized for their skills and abilities by those who understand the sport intimately.
I want to express my gratitude to all the parents for their unwavering support throughout the season. Your encouragement and presence at every meet have made a significant impact on our team's spirit and determination.
As we move forward, let's remember that setbacks are part of any athletic journey. It is through these challenges that we grow stronger, both individually and as a team.  I have complete faith in the potential of each and every one of our athletes, and I am confident that they will continue to achieve great things.
Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. It is an honor and privilege to coach such a remarkable group of young women. Let's continue to support and uplift one another as we strive for excellence both in and out of the pool. Finally, let’s cheer on our two state participants next week and celebrate everyone at the banquet on the 20th!!"
