The New Prague Green Team is a High School Club that empowers students to participate in various green projects, like school gardens, indoor gardening, hydroponics, and other environmental projects.

To make a positive impact on our environment by raising students awareness of environmental issues.  The goal of the club is to educate, inform, and inspire individuals to promote a positive impact on the environment.

Through the Scott County Watershed Stewards Grant; the New Prague Area Schools SHIP Grant; and big help from Dave Sticha we were able to develop and plant a rain garden and pollinator garden in Spring 2018.  With the help of our Construction Trade classes, the club was also able to build a handicap accessible raised garden bed.  And that is how we got started!
