2023 Community Green Day Event

Come join us on Saturday, May 13 2023 at the New Prague Farmers Market from 9:00am-12:00pm.  We will have an one time booth to hand out and sell trees (Red Maple, Colorado Spruce, &/or Common Chokecherry).  The club will also be selling herbs, tomato plants, and green pepper plants.  We also have propagated Citronella plants.  Come check us out along with all the other booths at this years New Prague Farmers Market.  Hope to see you there.

2022 Summer CSA gardening at Schools Gardens

Green Team paired up with the life skill students and staff members to plant CSA garden to be used by staff. Here are some pics from this summers school gardens

  • Vomacka Soup One staff member made traditional Czech Vomacka soup using his mother's recipe. Yummy

Butterflies enjoying the Meadow Blazing Stars at NPHS Pollinator Garden

This is our 5thyear with the Rain/Pollinator Garden at NPHS.  First week in September numerous pictures were taken showing the Monarch Butterflies enjoying our Pollinator Garden.  We are making a difference!

2019 New Prague Community Garden Green Team Volunteer Day

On Saturday, September 28th, the green team helped rebuild various garden beds at the New Prague Community Gardens behind Wells Fargo. Check out the pictures! The group learned how to make a garden bed so we can build more at our high school this fall! Check out Mckenzie Dropik's work and Meg Schoenbauer can throw down a mean mallet. Find Linsday Bisek on the cordless drill! Great job volunteers!

Zuchninni grown in NPHS Handicap Garden

First ever in NPHS history Zuchninni grown from the NPHS Handicap Garden Bed that was used in a Foods lab making Zuchninni noodles!  Thank you students for bringing a sample to Mrs. Schultz.  She loved it!  Hope this is one of many uses of the school garden in the future!
