Food Sharing Cart Project

To reduce waste and better utilize fresh produce. Students can reclaim extra food during lunch, FACS department can claim any extras, student/facility can claim extra food after school in counseling office, and the remaining foods get donated to the local food shelf. Back this 2021-2022, NPHS Green Team will relaunch the SHARING CART Initiative in the school cafeteria. Students can place their unwanted fruit or milk just outside the kitchen area. The food then is either used by other students, counseling office has extra food for students, and/or what is remaining will be donated to the local food shelf! Look for the cart to donate!

Summer 2019

FRESH! LOCAL! AND STUDENT GROWN GARDENS
